FAQ:

1. So are the females smaller then the males? or do the males just have three spines and that's it?

Jeckyll hounds have a range of sizes for each subspecies, but males are not necessarily any bigger.

2. How many spines do the females have if the only way you can tell them apart is by how many spines?

Males have 3, and females have only 2.

3. Where did you come up with them they are so cute!!

Haha thanks! I actually came up with them after doing art for someone of their chupacabra, that and I saw a ton of "Jekyll" gifs on tumblr.

4) So they have such short fur that you can't really see it? didn't knew whales had fur XD

Well, technically, whales and dolphins only have hair when they are babies. It's on their face and rostrum, but it falls out quickly. It's very fine and close to the skin.

5) Are they active during day, night or morning/evening?

Good question! Typically, wild Desert J-Hounds are active at night. The other two subspecies are mostly active during the day. A domestic Desert J-Hound, though, can easily change its activity patterns, because they become closely bonded to the owner.

6) Can they live in a hole in a cactus (Desert Species)?

Of course they can, if the cactus is big enough, they are about the size of a Fennec Fox.

7) Can they make the hole themselves (Desert Species)?

Only if there is a started hole, or an area that has the spines broken off. They just don't have the skin protection to go straight at a cactus.

8) Can the marking only be orange? so no dark brown or light beige?

Oh dear, I'm sorry for my terrible handwriting! It actually says "organic", as in natural-looking. (No stars, no plaid, no rainbow, no hearts, etc.)

9) Do they live alone, in pairs, or in groups?

Right, J-Hounds are solitary creatures in the wild, they come together only during mating season, and then they are off again. Domestic J-Hounds, however, are tolerant only of other J-Hounds that are owned by their Bonded (Owner), or people that their Bonded is comfortable with. They can be vicious towards strays, and are extremely vicious towards the J-Hounds of their Bonded's "enemies".
